Important Information for Friday, April 10th

FOOD
All students should eat dinner BEFORE coming to the show tonight!
(Please do NOT order and deliver pizza to JGMS.)
We are providing water and basic snacks (pretzels, cookies, crackers) at intermission - but not a meal.  If your child needs something extra, please pack a dinner, sandwich or snack that is not messy and will not stain a costume.

CHANGE IN CALL TIMES FOR CAST
Tomorrow/Friday, we would like all 8th graders plus Mrs. Potts to arrive at 5:20 to change into costumes, and report to the MakeUp room promptly at 5:30 p.m.

All 6th and 7th graders should arrive at 5:50 p.m. to change into costumes and report to the MakeUp room promptly at 6:00 p.m.

CALL TIMES FOR CREW
Crew members should arrive between 6:15-6:30 p.m. unless they have been told a different time by their managers or Mrs. Budka.

MAKE-UP
Please have your student bring his/her own mascara.  (Optional, though helpful, for boys).  In addition, please be sure your student brings in a towel to place over his/her costume during make-up application.  Mrs. Panagiotou has kindly washed shirts/costumes several times this week already!

Opening Night Reminders

We are looking forward to tonight.  Two reminders in case it's helpful:

1. FOOD:

Please make sure that your child eats dinner before coming to JGMS for the call time.  We will have snacks during intermission, but we are NOT providing a meal.  We will be providing water backstage constantly, and your cast member is welcome to bring a personal water bottle.

If you child needs more than the usual snack, please send in a sandwich or something that will not stain a costume.  NO candy please.

Please DO NOT send your child in with cash.  He/she will NOT be allowed to purchase candy from the POMS table during intermission.

2. CALL TIMES FOR MAKEUP

Your cast member's call time is the time that he/she should be dressed and ready in costume, reporting to the  LGI/MakeUp Room.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes in advance for your child to change into his/her costume.

MAKE UP Call Times for Thursday and Friday 7 PM performances are:

Tuesday, April 7 - Dress Rehearsal

Tuesday will be a dress rehearsal without makeup. A few photographers will be on hand to take candids, and catch up with the few kids who were absent on Monday.

Dress rehearsal will start right after school and run until 6 (or possibly a few minutes after 6).

Snacks consisting of goldfish crackers, cookies, and water will be served right after school.  IF your student needs more, please send him/her with an additional snack or sandwich that will NOT stain the costumes.

Please be in touch with any questions.  Looking forward to opening night!

Almost Show Time!

Hi everyone,

We are less than one week away from the show - and we need your help!  Please read the information below.

MakeUp:
  1. MakeUp Information page is above and was sent home with all cast members.
  2. We need  help - please sign up!  NO experience is necessary  -- we will "train" you if needed. This is a fun volunteer gig! You will be finished well before the show starts. Here is the Signup: Help with MakeUp
Photo Board Displays: Given other events in Bedford next Wednesday evening, our Photography Coordinators, Lori Alper and Daisy Girifalco had to schedule this task during the daytime hours, which we know is not ideal for many.  If you happen to be available for any amount of time, please sign up here: Photo Board SignUp

Schedule: Dress rehearsal with full makeup is Monday, April 6 after school until 6 p.m., and Tuesday, April 7 (without makeup) after school until 6 p.m.

Cast Party: We have a few open SignUp slots for cast party assistance. The party will take place at the JGMS cafeteria after Saturday's performance.  Pick up will be confirmed, likely at 10 p.m.

Backstage Snacks:  If you are able to donate snacks, water and apple juice for backstage/intermission at the performances next week, please email Tina at JGMSmusical@gmail.com to get the specifics about what we need.

PublicityPlease spread the word about the show.  Here is the Facebook event page.

Thank you!  We have appreciated all of the contributions by parents - your time, creativity, generous donations and support of the students!  Please be in touch with questions.
